San Marino. The Austrians offer Giuseppe Garibaldi surrender, but Garibaldi, probably rightly, is wary. He leaves San Marino and follows the Rubicon River to Cesenatico, where, arriving at 8:30 PM, he disarms a small Austrian garrison.
