Augusta Ada Byron is born, daughter of Lord Byron and Annabella Milbanke. Lord Byron leaves his wife and daughter the following April, and Ada never sees her father again. Lord Byron dies on the front lines of the Greek War of Independence against the Ottomans on April 19, 1824.
