Vienna. 300 musketeers of the Dupigny regiment and 30 cavalry make a sortie into the ditch killing the Ottoman diggers. After an hour of furious fighting the Turks have the upper hand and the Viennese retreat with the body of commander Dupigny. The mines and subsequent Turkish assaults follow one another practically every day or even more than one a day.
