Milan. Leonardo Da Vinci met the professor of human anatomy Marcantonio della Torre, of the University of Pavia. Marcantonio died of bubonic plague in 1511, but in the intense preceding year he worked diligently with Leonardo, who drew 240 anatomical plates with 13,000 words of description.
