Leonardo da Vinci’s studies of the human skull. He uses a revolutionary graphic representation technique: he shows the skull half sectioned and half unsectioned. He is the first to depict the frontal sinus, just behind the eyebrow. He is also the first to describe the human dentition in complete and detailed detail.
