Pico della Mirandola decides to leave Italy for Paris, where his theses have been enthusiastically received; here, however, he will be joined by a papal vicar. After kidnappings and various vicissitudes, Pico emerges shocked and will begin to intensify his religiosity more and more, dedicating himself to long practices of almost monastic devotions.
