Austrian General Bianchi, however, does not force his hand under the terms of the armistice. Murat will return to France to serve Napoleon, who, however, will not even welcome him. Then, leading a detachment of men, he disembarks at Pizzo in Calabria. In the town square, there are troops on exercise; he rushes among them, shouting &#8220;Long live Murat!
